As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service, being flexible to the needs of the business, maintaining in‑stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
• Be an Expert:
  Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs following recipe measurement instructions; work with a variety of products, decorating bags, tips, nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items; ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume (e.g., holidays, graduations, family events); identify member needs, assist members with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Act as a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in the bakery and modeling high‑quality service and products; interact with associates to understand roadblocks, assist in training, develop influencing and inspiring them to work in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress and information, determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.

• 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

• Cake Decorating experience.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00 per hour.
