Sales Associate at Rack Room Shoes (Seasonal).

Location:

Albuquerque, NM. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales goals, and supporting store operations in accordance with company policies.

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness of service standards and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Promote company rewards programs and other business initiatives; maintain awareness of current sales promotions.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged; keep all areas clean and organized.
• Develop product knowledge and fitting skills; participate in physical inventories, shipping/receiving as needed, and merchandise placement on the sales floor.
• Assist with cashier functions in accordance with policy and procedure; ensure shoes are checked for mates and transactions are processed accurately.

• Interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
• Basic communication, organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of store policies and procedures; basic visual merchandising skills.
