THE

OPPORTUNITY

The Truck Lease and Sales Consultant will represent the Inland Lease and Rental — Pac Lease division and will be responsible for selling full‑service lease programs and services for an assigned customer group and territory. In addition, you have the opportunity to sell new Class 8 Kenworth Trucks. This is an outside sales position.

Your Responsibilities
  • Selling best‑in‑class products and services in a business‑to‑business sales environment
  • Work to achieve sales targets and demonstrate a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Develop sales opportunities by identifying, researching and contacting prospective customers
  • Gain an understanding of customer priorities and needs and demonstrate how our best‑in‑class lease programs and truck makes and models can meet the customer’s requirements
  • Manage and report on sales action plans on a regular basis
  • Meet planning and productivity goals
  • Understand and work within required sales processes, write complete sales orders and process required paperwork in accordance with company policies
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure the customer’s after‑sales experience is exceptional
  • Travel outside of the local area will be required from time to time, typically generated by meetings at Inland branches, training programs or seminars, along with trips to vendor and OEM locations. This may include travel in both Canada and the U.S., so it is essential you hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport at all times and be able to travel as required.
What

We Look For
  • Post‑secondary education in sales and marketing preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in commercial truck/automotive sales, lease or rental experience preferred
  • Excellent sales skills, with demonstrated sales experience selling in a business‑to‑business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Proven ability to develop and work a sales action plan and drive to achieve top sales results
  • Ability to negotiate is essential
  • Travel outside of the local area will be required from time to time, typically generated by meetings at Inland branches, training programs or seminars, along with trips to vendor and OEM locations. This may include travel in both Canada and the U.S., so it is essential you hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport at all times and be able to travel as required.
  • Must be able to climb into and out of commercial transport vehicles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Have a valid Driver’s License and be able to travel in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement included and expenses reimbursable).

SALARY AND COMMISSION

This position is paid a base salary plus commission with uncapped commission opportunity and first year on‑target earnings of $100,000 – $120,000.
