Job Overview
Commercial Roofing Sales Executive – responsible for hunting, building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing profitable work across reroof, service/maintenance, and new construction sectors. The role involves navigating complex sales cycles and building revenue from customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow commercial roofing sales within assigned territory/market
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development
- Identify and secure reroof, leak repair/service, preventative maintenance, and new construction opportunities
- Build relationships with property managers, building owners, general contractors, developers, consultants, and facility leaders
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and roof assessments
- Partner with estimating and operations teams to develop proposals and pricing strategies
- Drive projects from initial lead through signed contract and turnover to operations
- Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets
- Represent the company professionally within the market and industry events
- 5+ years of commercial roofing sales experience preferred
- Proven track record selling reroof, service/maintenance, and/or new construction roofing projects
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to self-generate business
- Experience closing negotiated work and developing long-term client relationships
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal roofing systems
- Ability to understand project specs, scopes, and client needs
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated, competitive, and relationship-driven personality
- CRM and proposal software experience preferred
- Commercial roofing sales

- Business development within construction or roofing
- Existing relationships within the local commercial construction market is a major plus

$100,000 - $175,000 per year, uncapped commission, and benefits.
