Reports to: Branch Manager

Position: Sales and Project Manager

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Summary: The Sales and Project Manager will be assigned to a specific sales territory and maintain current customer accounts while developing new accounts. The role represents RMS Crane & Rigging to obtain orders for commercial construction crane and rigging services, developing and penetrating new clients with the intent of establishing long-term relationships.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $110,000 annually DOE, including additional sales bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all responsibilities in a safe, legal, professional, and ethical manner.
  • Execute the company services sales strategy mainly related to specialty rigging and crane services.
  • Achieve sales targets by identifying and closing business opportunities.
  • Maintain effective relationships with established customers.
  • Conduct meetings with customers and prospects and provide effective presentations and written proposals to prospective customers.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of manufacturer product lines as well as industry trends.
  • Establish a client base that will support a $2+ MM per year revenue stream.
  • Manage the transition from sales to execution on all closed opportunities and ensure branch team and customer are aligned on the expectations of services sold.
  • Undertake any other duties as designated.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or comparable record of sales leadership experience.
  • Three to five years of sales experience.
  • Five years of experience as a crane operator preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
