Position Summary
We seek a standout candidate, one who not only reaches but exceeds expectations, blending charisma, innovation, and customer engagement with a keen understanding of the competitive market. The Sales Representative will oversee a broad array of existing convenience store customers, driving sales through our food service and convenience programs; extend beyond maintaining existing customers by tapping into new clients and forging strong business relationships.
The role contributes to growth and profitability with compensation that reflects achievements.
- Competitive starting salary range of $70k-$80k during training. After training, Sales Reps can earn uncapped commissions, spiffs, and a subsidy until territory scales to 100% commission. Top performers can earn well over $100,000 annually.
- Work schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM. - Work location:
Field Sales in the local territory. Reports to Albuquerque OpCo, 123 Montaño Rd NW., Albuquerque, NM 87107. - Travel: 80% driving within the local territory. Car allowance + mileage reimbursement through the Car Data Program; monthly cell‑phone stipend provided.
- Grow sales and profit margins through execution of sales strategy and territory management, planning customized approaches per customer.
- Prospect and onboard new customer accounts, including cold calling to build a robust pipeline.
- Educate customers on convenience and food‑service programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, delivery specifics, and industry activities.
- Review daily/weekly/monthly reports with store managers and assist in opportunity identification.
- Minimize accounts‑receivable issues by monitoring credit compliance and following up on problems.
- Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory to ensure competitive pricing.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that increase sales.
- Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Proven success closing B2B sales across product lines.
- Strong sales travel experience and effective time management.
- General knowledge of food safety standards, including basic HACCP and cold‑chain integrity; maintained Serv‑Safe certification.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, capable of working independently with minimal direction.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a record of professional, results‑driven customer presentations.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Energetic entrepreneurial spirit with competitive drive.
- Experience growing market share as a sales professional.
- Track record of relationship building and providing consultative services.

Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must own a reliable vehicle, have a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of sales, account management, or business development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- At least 2 years of B2B sales experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking).
- Experience in food service, wholesale, grocery, or retail.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Sales Force.
