Job Summary

Start on a career path that has a future. As a Rental Sales Management Trainee, you will be a part of a dynamic team used to leverage industry knowledge and develop professional relationships. The program is fast‑paced and touches all aspects of the business unit. It is typically completed in 18‑24 months, though a 12‑month completion is possible for high performers.

You will be assigned operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management. Structured work weeks, rotational Saturdays (depending on branch), competitive pay, overtime, benefits, a 401(k) match and discounts on Ryder Shares are included.

Rental Location

Albuquerque, NM

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 1st Shift.

Essential Functions
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls.
  • Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database.
  • Generate rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads.
  • Manage all rental asset processes including vehicle preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards.
  • Meet overall market share goals by executing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies.
  • Reconcile customer concerns, issues and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Volunteer as an On‑Call Representative based on scheduling as determined by the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High energy, self‑motivated, self‑directed with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices.
  • Good common sense and a quick learning aptitude.
  • Ability to relocate in the region/US upon completion of the training program.
  • Intermediate computer literacy required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration or related field).
  • One year or more of customer service with issue resolution experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer literacy required.
Compensation

Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 per year, plus bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan potential.
