Overview

Specialist – Footwear responsible for delivering exceptional athlete experiences by providing expert footwear guidance focused on fit, performance, and comfort. This role drives sales, supports teammates, and creates a personalized, athlete‑first environment in a fast‑paced retail setting.

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and creating a world‑class experience.
• Provides clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Anticipates athlete needs and actively drives sales through product and service recommendations, drawing on a deep understanding of athlete requirements.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as a subject matter expert, focusing on best practices, sales skills, and key operational processes.
• Serves as a go‑to expert in designated process categories to ensure smooth execution and high productivity.
• Demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete‑first mindset.
• Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards.
• Promotes and drives customer participation in company programs (e.g., loyalty program, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Creates a store environment where teammates and athletes are always welcome and treated with respect.
• Adheres to established safety, loss prevention, standard operating procedures, and applicable laws and guidelines.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer‑facing experience preferred.
