Position: Site Leader (Technical Sales)

Job Title

Lead a strategic account in the South West region, specifically Albuquerque, New Mexico, within the Packaging & Hygiene division.

Company is a global leader in sustainable chemistry for water-intensive industries, focusing on improving productivity and enabling sustainable business practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the local team to provide sales and service programs to customers.
  • Service existing and new accounts, including on-site analysis, troubleshooting, and inspection.
  • Design and install feed and delivery systems, and manage service functions related to sales and maintenance of company product lines.
  • Establish business plans with goals and objectives for sales and profits for new and existing business.
  • Provide customers with timely service reports.
  • Communicate mill requirements and opportunities.
  • Provide attention to customer needs and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Monitor product and service quality and address issues.
  • Resolve customer concerns to their satisfaction.
  • Maintain sales information systems and expense reporting systems accurately and timely.
  • Attend appropriate industry conferences and assigned company meetings.
  • Develop technical and sales skills by participating in and completing company-approved training programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience in paper specialty chemical sales, paper science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, or chemical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the paper industry.
  • Ability to develop Key Account or Project Plans and execute with discipline.
  • Strong emphasis on documenting ROI of new and existing applications.
  • Ability to develop trust-based relationships with key buyers.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Experience in paper making operations.
  • Experience in general wet-end applications.
  • Knowledge of retention and drainage chemistries.
  • Experience with sizing and recycled paper making.
