Join us as an Area Sales Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding compassionate hospice services across Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and surrounding communities. This dynamic leadership position offers the opportunity to drive market penetration, guide a dedicated sales team, and collaborate closely with Program and Regional Sales Directors to deliver patient-centered care that truly makes a difference in end-of-life support.
Required Skills:- Proven success as an individual contributor in hospice sales
- Strong hospice sales expertise with deep knowledge of the New Mexico market
- Sales leadership experience, including managing community liaison teams
- Ability to manage large territory or regional sales coverage
- Proficient understanding of hospice regulations and market dynamics
- Excellent training, coaching, and team development capabilities
- Skilled in tracking and reporting sales metrics and key performance indicators
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
Skills:
- Experience recruiting and building high-performing sales teams
- Familiarity with best practices in hospice sales strategies and competitive landscape
- Ability to provide market insights and innovate sales approaches
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Minimum four years of healthcare or hospice sales experience, with at least two years in management
- Demonstrated track record of growing local or regional patient census
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 70% within assigned territory
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation required
- Schedule Monday–Friday to support team and market needs
