Laboratory Analyst I – Eurofins Environment Testing South Central, Albuquerque, NM

• Compensation: USD 21 – USD 22 per hour

Eurofins Environment Testing delivers full‑service environmental analysis across all 50 states, supporting public and private clients—including DoD, DOE, and municipalities—with comprehensive testing for air, water, soil, sediment, tissue, and waste.

In Albuquerque, NM, the Laboratory Analyst I will prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques, complying with EPA methodology, Eurofins quality assurance programs, and standard operating procedures.

• Demonstrate and promote company vision
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Apply GMP/GLP in all responsibilities as appropriate
• Perform routine lab tasks, including:
  • Prepare samples using standard techniques
  • Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques
  • Calculate data and record results
  • Report data and any unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Conduct routine instrument maintenance
• Adhere to Eurofins environmental, health, safety, and quality assurance standards
• Become trained and competent on complex instrumentation, including gas chromatography, GC/MS, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument–specific data systems
• Work under close supervision using routine and standard methods
• Aliquot and weigh samples; wash glassware; conduct all activities safely and efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree
• Laboratory experience preferred; production‑oriented work experience beneficial
• Authority to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

• Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with overtime as needed

Compensation Range: $21 – $22 per hour. Actual base salary may vary based on experience, skill set, internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
