Must be currently licensed as an Armed Security Guard (Level
3) in New Mexico to apply.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- May be required to complete a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- May be required to complete a drug screen as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to local laws and may need to be completed prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
- Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of New Mexico.
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
- Approval of E‑Verification.
- Completion of onboarding process and site‑specific training.
- Approval and interview with assigned site manager.
- Previous armed guard experience required.
- Armed Level 3 Security License from the state of New Mexico required.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises and conducting patrols.
- Preserve order and enforce regulations for personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Work location:
Loves Travel Center, 2200 6th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. - Shift: Wednesday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm;
Thursday–Saturday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
- Pay: $22.50 per hour plus overtime where applicable.
- Biweekly pay.
