• Provides general public safety services for the protection of guests and equipment in the area.
• Inspects assigned areas for public safety and/or safety breaches and reports any potential situations to supervisor/first responders.
• Inform emergency first responders in case of fire, presence of unauthorized persons or other unforeseen emergencies.
• Observe and report all unusual occurrences and incidents within the designated area.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
• This position is not limited to the duties listed. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.
• Observe safety and security rules and regulations in the workplace.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Report to work on time.
• Comprehend the district’s rules and regulations.

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience as a Public Safety Officer, Security Officer, military or law enforcement with report‑writing experience is a plus.
• Preferred: valid New Mexico Driver’s License.
• Must possess customer service and communication skills.
• Must have ability to use good judgment in both intense and non‑intense situations.
• Must have a professional demeanor and well‑groomed appearance.
• Must be able to follow all instructions, written and oral.

Starting pay $23.00 per hour with possibility of higher starting wage depending on experience. Level 3 starting pay $23.00+.
