• Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with staff and/or the public regarding site rules, directions, and security‑related procedures.
• Prepare detailed incident, activity, and patrol reports, and relay important updates to supervisors, client representatives, and/or public agency contacts as needed.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
