** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance-related issues.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and shared spaces to help support access control practices, observe guest and resident activity, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior through proper channels.

+ Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly during shift changes regarding ongoing issues, patrol findings, and/or resident service needs.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
