** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant activity to supervisors, site contacts, and/or public emergency services when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or daily activities in required reports.

+ Support emergency response activities by providing direction during evacuations, assisting with crowd and/or traffic flow, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
