As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance‑related issues.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, communicating with local authorities and/or emergency personnel when appropriate, and following post orders for assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
