As a Security Officer Studios Access Control in Albuquerque, NM
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic media and technology location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with badge-related activity, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Mon 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic media and technology location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to offices, production areas, and other restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and other required documentation while communicating clearly with staff regarding deliveries, guest arrivals, and security‑related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other conditions that may require a security‑related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A state, county, and/or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
