Security Officer

Heritage Hotels & Resorts Corporate Office seeks a Security Officer to protect guests, staff, and property across our culturally inspired New Mexico hotels. In this on-site role, you will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor entrances and parking lots, and respond to incidents and alarms with professionalism and calm. You will document safety and security issues, partner with hotel teams and local authorities when needed, and provide courteous assistance to guests.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hotel premises, entrances, and public areas to ensure guest and staff safety
• Patrol interior and exterior areas, including parking lots and event spaces
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and alarms following company protocols
• Document and report safety, security, and maintenance issues accurately
• Assist guests and employees with security-related concerns and escorts as needed
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required
• Enforce access control procedures and verify identification as appropriate
• Support special events by managing crowd flow and risk awareness
• Conduct routine inspections for hazards and policy compliance
• Follow Heritage Hotels & Resorts standards for guest service and professionalism
