As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.

+ Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity.

+ Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, following applicable policies and procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
