Position Type:Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public‑service agencies as needed.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials when applicable, and document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations in accordance with site procedures.
- Carry and maintain authorized equipment, including an assigned duty firearm, in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
