Armed Security Officer

Allied Universal is hiring Armed Security Officers to provide patrol and protection services for clients in the Administrative & Support & Waste Management sector. In this role, you will conduct foot and vehicle patrols, control access, monitor alarms and CCTV, and respond to incidents with professionalism and sound judgment. You will complete clear reports, support emergency procedures, and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned premises on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations.
• Control access to client facilities by checking IDs, badges, and visitor logs and enforcing entry procedures.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, and CCTV equipment and respond to incidents according to post orders.
• Perform incident response, de-escalation, and basic emergency procedures until public safety personnel arrive.
• Complete accurate, timely written reports and daily activity logs for all incidents and observations.
• Conduct safety checks of doors, gates, lighting, and equipment, reporting or addressing deficiencies.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a visible security presence.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client policies, procedures, and safety standards, including uniform and conduct guidelines.
