Advance Onsite Protection Security (AOP Security) is currently hiring Level 2 Patrol Officers to join our team. Patrol Officers are responsible for protecting client properties, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and maintaining a professional security presence at multiple locations.

• Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols of assigned properties
• Monitor properties for suspicious activity, trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other security concerns
• Respond to calls and incidents as directed by Dispatch
• Thoroughly inspect doors, windows, gates, parking areas, and other designated areas
• Enforce client property rules and regulations professionally
• Address and remove unauthorized or trespassing individuals when appropriate
• Identify and report safety or facility concerns, including fire hazards, water leaks, damaged property, or unsecured areas
• Contact or request emergency personnel when necessary
• Complete accurate and detailed incident and patrol reports using company software
• Maintain communication with Dispatch throughout the shift
• Follow all AOP Security policies, procedures, and post orders

• Must have a current New Mexico Level 2 Security Guard Card
• Valid driver's license required
• Must have a good driving record to be approved for a Patrol Officer position
• Must be able to safely operate a company patrol vehicle
• Previous security, patrol, law enforcement, or related experience is a plus
• Must be able to work graveyard, swing, night, weekday, and/or weekend shifts as needed

• Strong customer service and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Familiarity with security equipment is a plus
• Ability to use a cell phone and company software to complete reports
• Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions under stressful situations
• Ability to interact with clients and the public in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with Dispatch

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to meet AOP Security's requirements for operating company patrol vehicles
