Overview
Maintenance Supervisor - Material Recovery Facility (MRF) at Waste Connections of Albuquerque, BARCO MRF.
Location:
Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pay Range: $75,000 - 80,000 + Bonus potential. Join our growing team!

- Ensure adequate training of mechanics on shift.
- Work hands-on with the maintenance staff and not be afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Assign, review and ensure proper completion of repair orders by all technicians, daily using RTA and other tracking methods.
- Train and assist Mechanics on methods for diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Work with the maintenance manager to provide daily communications to operations on down equipment and operational needs.
- Promote collaboration between and among personnel.
- Communicate regularly with the District Maintenance Manager and all shop personnel, including daily tailgates documented.
- Assist in monthly financial projections and assume annual budget responsibility for certain lines of spending.
- Perform quality control inspections and work observations.
- Ensure adherence to the corporate safety program.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance techniques.
- Experience with heavy equipment and yellow iron is a plus.
- Post-collections waste experience is a plus.
- Ability to motivate staff to meet corporate, regional, division, and district objectives.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- 3+ years mechanic experience with equipment maintenance and repair (waste industry experience desired).
- Ability to train and motivate staff a must.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Valid driver's license.
