Prior to being hired, promoted, or transferred into the position, the candidate must successfully pass a Personnel Risk Assessment, which includes identity verification and a criminal background check.

Prior to being granted unescorted access to cyber secure areas, the candidate must attend cyber security training. Annual cyber security training is also required.

• Ability to assist journeymen in various trades
• Ability to assist other team members with various duties
• Promotes preventive maintenance as a strategy in maintaining electrical, mechanical, control, and plumbing systems by assisting in the development and monitoring programs, keeping accurate records on all equipment
• Performing spot checks of equipment to determine their working condition, and performing and/or directing periodic cleaning and servicing of tools and test equipment
• Enforces Company and departmental rules and policies regarding employee conduct by advising mechanical personnel of the rules and policies on employee conduct, issuing verbal warnings and written reprimands for violations, and recommending progressive disciplinary action as necessary
• Reduces the likelihood of a significant disruption of mechanical services (i.e., heating, cooling, plumbing, electricity) to the Company and assures around-the-clock responsiveness to mechanical failures or emergency situations

High school diploma or GED with three to four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline.

Must possess a current, legally valid driver’s license and meet the company’s driving record requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and/or walk up to 2/3 of the time. May be exposed to outside weather conditions, loud noise and vibrations.
