Equipment Repair Mechanic
As an Equipment Repair Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of truck equipment used in utilities, construction, and service industries. This includes working on liftgates, cranes, and truck beds. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, ensuring a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Complete installation and repair on truck equipment including liftgates, cranes, and truck beds.
- Perform various tasks with a focus on automotive repair and mechanical equipment.
- Utilize welding skills and knowledge of SAE certifications.
- Work with hand tools and power tools to effectively maintain and repair equipment.
- Mentor lower‑level mechanics and assist with their development.
- Manage installations and services related to liftgates.
- Experience in automotive repair and mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in welding, particularly with aluminum and steel.
- SAE certifications, including E1 and E2 ratings.
- Knowledge of truck equipment and automotive mechanics.
- Experience with 12V electrical systems and chassis frames.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred certifications in welding.
- Holding certificates from OEM training schools such as Muncie or IMTCO.
- Proficiency in installations and services related to truck equipment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Albuquerque, NM.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
