JOB SUMMARYTo support our rapid growth, Cool Sys Energy Solutions (CES) is seeking a Traveling Electrical Installer with HVAC/R Controls experience. This position is responsible for extensive travel state to state as a self‑reliant productive installer. Must be self‑sufficient, responsible, able to prioritize and communicate with the trades people on the job site, and track project schedule to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately and on‑time.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity of the team.

- Promotes and fosters efficiency and productivity for electrical controls installations, monitoring the project as it proceeds, directing and leading the crew (when applicable) toward optimal project productivity and workplace safety.
- Provides support on EMS job by installing conduit, running cable, and wiring up refrigeration equipment, HVAC, RTU’s and lighting.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget, communicating any schedule or budget changes with the Project Manager.
- Performs other related duties and projects assigned by account management, including parts and material ordering and procurement.
- Ability to think outside the box, make decisions to maintain project quality, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain daily/weekly communication with account managers, facility managers, superintendents, engineering staff.
- Communication and scheduling skills with store and facility managers.
- Must be able to travel to projects across the US, arrange their own travel accommodations, and submit accurate expense reports in a timely manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity of the team.
- Knowledge of high volume electrical power systems 115V, 208V, 460V, single and 3 phase systems preferred.
- Knowledge of low voltage control circuits, network architecture, and ethernet.
- Operational knowledge of EMS boards, modules, and sensors.
- Ability to read and understand power and control circuit diagrams and blueprints.
- Understanding of refrigerated product integrity and risk or product loss liabilities.
- Skill in basic computer programs, such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to navigate laptop computer.
- Ability to access search engines and websites for products, equipment, specifications and data sheets.
- Maintain high level of safety consciousness of hazards to self, co‑workers, and other trades within the jobsite and facility.
- High school diploma or GED, and trade or technical school classes with certification.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction or related industry.
- Must be able to read reports and blueprints.
- Must maintain mobility between job sites and highly elevated places, such as roofs and attics.
