We’re hiring an experienced Fiber Optic Splicer to perform clean, straightforward splicing work. Your focus is on splicing, closing out terminals, and completing quality checks - no pulling, drilling, or construction labor. You’ll also receive additional training to grow your skills and advance into multiple areas of fiber and telecom.
What You’ll Do- Splice fiber using a fusion splicer
- Close out terminal boxes and ensure clean, organized work
- Verify light levels and complete all quality checks
- Build and close FOSC enclosures as needed
- Document splices, counts, OTDR results, cut sheets, and photos
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Read splice plans and basic blueprints
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication
- Follow all PPE and safety rules
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
- Ensure tools and equipment are stored safely
- Assist with basic traffic awareness when needed
- Training provided to expand your splicing and fiber-network skills
