Description

Our Lamar office in Albuquerque, NM is now hiring a new Operations crew member to help us bring outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Albuquerque, New Mexico and surrounding areas. This role is action-packed, and we provide all the training and equipment to start your career in the outdoor advertising industry.

- Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm work schedule with overnight travel 2x per week required.
- Hourly pay $19 - $22, dependent on experience and qualifications.

- Install and maintain billboards and associated advertising, including removal, hanging, cutting, and preparing flex and vinyl materials.
- Perform structure repairs: tightening bolts, painting, trimming, and replacing parts of the signage structure.
- Build and install extensions, conduct storm damage repairs, and perform minor electrical maintenance.
- Use power and manual tools while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Attend safety meetings as required.
- Maintain operation vehicles, tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Document installations with photographs and written logs.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
- Team‑player with willingness to work well with others.
- Basic computer skills: internet navigation, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Compliance with Lamar safety standards.
- Capacity to work from ladders and carry necessary tools to the worksite.
- Working knowledge of electrical, fabrication techniques and reading blueprints.
- Knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to safely use construction equipment and work at heights.
- Ability to document installations through photographs and written logs.
- Math skills relevant to construction and operations tasks.
- Strong prioritization skills reflecting job responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Complete OSHA 10‑hour Construction course.
- Preferred certifications: CDL/Non‑CDL, Crane, Signal, Rigging, or LDD.
- Previous experience working at heights up to 200 ft. preferred.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Outdoors, often adverse weather and heights up to 200 ft.
- Heavy lifting up to 100 lbs, extensive bending, pushing, reaching.
- Driving, manipulating vision, speaking, walking, standing, stooping, climbing.
- Nights spent away from home traveling less than 10%.
- On‑call shifts may be required.
