Elevator Technician; Albuquerque

Job Summary

Elevator Technicians are needed for the Albuquerque, NM area. The role involves service, repair, new installation, and/or modernization of elevator systems while meeting customer expectations and profitability measures. This is a safety-sensitive position.

• Monitors and analyzes the function of mechanical and electrical components to troubleshoot, adjust, or repair the equipment.
• Preforms preventative maintenance tasks, including visual inspection, manual cleaning, and lubrication of elevator systems and components in controlled or non-controlled climate field settings.
• Establishes and strengthens business relationships with owners, property managers, building engineers, and union business agents.

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of related work experience as a mechanic or technician in a commercial setting.
• Strong mechanical reasoning, comprehension skills, and hands‑on mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to be a self‑starter and to work independently with little supervision.
• Can lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Relocation assistance may be considered.
