Structural Tech 2

Structural Tech 2 Are you a skilled crafts-person with a passion for precision and restoration? Do you thrive in hands-on environments where your carpentry expertise makes a visible impact? Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Structural Tech 2, you'll be at the heart of our facilities team, performing a wide range of carpentry and structural tasks that keep our spaces functional, beautiful, and safe. Your work will include:

  • Constructs, repairs, and/or installs carpentry elements including moldings, laminates, trim, and window and door systems.
  • Constructs and installs custom cabinetry.
  • Installs, repairs, or maintains door openers/closers and door hardware.
  • Installs glass doors, door hardware and metal framing.
  • Performs restoration work on wood cabinets, flooring, and furniture.
  • Reads and interprets structural blueprints, field drawings, and project layouts.
  • May also carry out additional duties such as repairing or installing frame walls, sheetrock, insulation, flooring, painting, and various carpentry tasks.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
