Goodman Realty Group seeks experienced tradesman with a well‑rounded skillset in rough and finish carpentry as well as woodworking shop skills at Winrock Town Center. Must work well with routers, table saws, planers, joiners and other shop tools. Must have experience with laminates and wood finishes. Must be able to read plans, do material takeoffs and project layout. You will be working on various interior and exterior projects throughout the Center, from interior space finishing, lobby and hallway and common area work and exterior park construction.

The Carpenter will build, erect, install, and repair forms, structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to assist with various types of construction projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
- Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
- Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
- Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
- Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
- Creates wooden forms for pouring concrete or for tunnels, bridges, or construction projects.
- Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
- Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
- Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
- Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
- Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; or at least three (3) years of previous experience performing the essential functions of this position.
- Demonstrates the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Some exposure to viewing a computer screen.
- Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to high.
- Must be able to travel (20%) within the metropolitan area.
