Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Join the RIE Coatings team!

RIE Coatings is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and working in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Use a CMMS to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment records.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and organize maintenance supplies.
• Monitor and assist with plant utilities, including the boiler system, compressed air, pumps, ventilation, and other facility equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical controls, sensors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Coordinate outside contractors and ensure work is completed safely.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Boiler operator certification is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Routinely lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift 65-75 lbs.
