Seeking a Licensed Electrician!
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems associated with solar photovoltaic (PV) parking canopy projects. You will perform conduit installation, wire pulling, equipment terminations, inverter connections, and system testing while ensuring all work complies with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities- Install electrical systems for solar parking canopy projects, including conduit, wiring, disconnects, switch gear, combiner boxes, and inverters.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, one-line diagrams, and project specifications.
- Bend and install EMT, rigid, PVC, and flexible conduit systems.
- Pull, terminate, and label conductors according to project requirements.
- Install and connect solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, racking grounding systems, and equipment.
- Perform AC and DC electrical terminations.
- Install transformers, panel boards, EV charging equipment, and related electrical infrastructure when required.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Expertise in electrical systems, conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with solar electrical construction.
Skills & Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License or state-recognized electrical certification.
- Solar PV installation experience.
- Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- NABCEP certification or solar industry training.
- Experience installing EV charging stations and energy storage systems.

Work Environment
Work is performed outside on public open spaces, often alongside apprentices and laborers. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, and work from aerial lifts. The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching, often in varying weather conditions, and at heights using fall protection equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Albuquerque, NM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.31 - $45.31/hr.
