Mandatory Licenses &
Certifications:
Current MIG and ARC Welding Certifications.
You will serve as the team's dedicated certified welder while also performing commercial carpentry on a variety of complex construction projects throughout New Mexico. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys working with multiple disciplines and wants to be part of a company known for solving challenging projects across commercial, industrial, and government facilities. Your welding expertise will support specialized project needs while your carpentry skills will keep you actively involved in day-to-day field operations.
HowYou Will Make an Impact:
- Perform commercial carpentry including rough carpentry, finish work, framing, installations, and general construction tasks.
- Complete certified MIG and ARC welding for structural steel and miscellaneous commercial construction applications.
- Perform light field fabrication and modifications as project requirements dictate.
- Weld and fabricate steel and galvanized steel components while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction specifications.
- Collaborate with project foremen and field crews to complete projects safely and on schedule.
- Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant jobsite.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of commercial carpentry experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of MIG and ARC welding experience.
- Current MIG and ARC Welding Certifications required.
- Proven experience working with structural steel and galvanized steel.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Experience performing field welding and light fabrication.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various project sites throughout New Mexico.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Experience:
- 5+ years of certified welding experience.
- Previous commercial, industrial, or government construction experience.
- OSHA 10 Certification or higher.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with structural steel fabrication and field modifications.
- Multi-trade construction experience is highly
