Commercial Door Technician

DH Pace, a national leader in commercial and residential door, dock, and security systems, is seeking Commercial Door Technicians to install, service, and repair commercial doors, operators, and related hardware for construction, industrial, and institutional customers. In this field-based role, you'll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete high-quality installations while following safety standards and building codes. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial doors, operators, and related hardware
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on door, dock, and security systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and manufacturer specifications
• Operate hand and power tools, lifts, and other equipment safely
• Follow OSHA, company, and job site safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
• Communicate with customers and team members to coordinate work and resolve issues
• Travel to customer sites in the local region as assigned
• Support team members and participate in ongoing training and development
