Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking qualified CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT MECHANIC for our Albuquerque, NM location.
OBJECTIVE:
This position diagnoses and repairs rental equipment to insure complete customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze malfunctions and repair all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition for the customer
- Diagnose complex mechanical equipment problems
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time
- Perform safety inspections on equipment
- Create work order and assess time and cost of repairs
- Maintains a clean and safe shop work environment
- Adhere to all governmental, company and equipment related safety requirements
- Aminimum of 2-5 years experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment
- Experience with electric over hydraulic controls, electric, gas and diesel machinery
- Rental experience preferred
- Good reading and comprehension skills
- Good customer service and communication skill
- The abilityto consistently lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have your own tools
- Have a valid driver's license and clean MVR
