TTX Company seeks a Railcar Repairman (Carman) to repair, modify, and upgrade rail cars according to blueprints and specifications. You will rebuild bolsters, side framers, hitch heads, and doors, welding and fabricating as needed, and use cutting torches to complete tasks.
Daily duties include mechanical labor, inspecting equipment, operating a forklift, measuring and cutting pipes, assembling subassemblies, and documenting repairs in our electronic system. Safety and accuracy are essential.
