Position Summary/General DescriptionResponsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client's requirements.
A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills. You must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field.

- Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.
- Must have experience as general labor in the General Construction Industry.
- Must have the ability to access Federal Installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
- Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
- Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
- Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and list heavy objects.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- OSHA 10 Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Completion of recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Journeyman level Carpenter.
- Additional certification may be required.
Physical Requirements
- The job requires the ability to balance/climb, bend over, crawl, crouch/stoop, drive, hear, kneel, reach overhead, sit, stand, talk, turn/twist, walk and repetitively use hands 51-10% of the time.
- The job requires the ability to push pull/pull, carry, lift, and slide/transfer 1-50+lbs. 51-100% of the time.
- This job is performed indoors/outdoors with exposure to hot/cold temperatures, loud noises, and confined areas.
- Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening.
