The Housing Coordinator at STATE OF THE ART HEALING LLC will be responsible for overseeing and managing housing arrangements for clients, ensuring that they have access to safe, secure, and appropriate living environments. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate housing solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients, while also adhering to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement housing plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals and organizational standards.
Collaborate with external partners, including landlords, housing agencies, and community organizations, to secure appropriate housing options.
Conduct regular assessments of housing conditions and address any issues or concerns to maintain a high standard of living for clients.
Provide guidance and support to clients in navigating housing processes, including applications, lease agreements, and understanding tenant rights and responsibilities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all housing arrangements and client interactions in compliance with privacy and confidentiality policies.
Monitor and evaluate housing programs and services to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Assist in the development of housing-related policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with the therapeutic team to integrate housing support into overall client care plans.
Stay informed about housing trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive in the housing sector.
Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human services field and one year of case management experience with the target population (substance use, mental health, or co-occurring).OR Associate degree in human services field and two years of case management experience with the target population.
OR High school diploma or GED and three years of experience providing case management with the target population.
Valid New Mexico CCSS Certification required.
Valid New Mexico driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between housing sites required.
Required Experience:
Experience in housing coordination or property management, preferably within a healthcare or social services setting.
Proven track record of working with diverse populations and understanding their housing needs.
Familiarity with local housing laws and regulations.
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with landlords and housing agencies.
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, landlords, and team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve housing goals.
Proficiency in using housing management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively mediate and resolve conflicts.
Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic differences and the ability to work with diverse populations.
