Why does the job exist?
Assists with the coordination and implementations of administrative support services which includes, but are not limited to: secretarial, budgetary, information and data processing, procurement, and records management to include:
Coordination of activities with other agency units.
How does it get done?
Assist with the year-round (YR) collection, entry, and reporting of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program data. Perform data entry and reporting for RSA-911, including WIOA performance reporting and Case Service Report data elements such as the Date of Application and the Start Date of Pre-Employment Transition Services. Support the effectiveness and efficiency of agency operations by ensuring the reliability of internal and external reporting and compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare travel-related requisitions for the Transition Unit. Oversee centralized administrative operations that support multiple agency units, including information and data processing, material scheduling and distribution, printing and reproduction services, records management, telecommunications coordination, security, wellness initiatives, and transportation services.
Provide statewide administrative support by assisting agency units with information related to Transition Unit activities and initiatives. This position requires the exercise of independent judgment, coordination across multiple agency units, knowledge of federal reporting requirements, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to support statewide operations related to transition services and the delivery of Pre-Employment Transition Services.
Who are the customers?
This position will be responsible to support the Pre-Employment Transition Services Manager and Regional Field Operation Director in analyzing and reviewing submitted reporting from Pre-ETS contractors on potentially eligible students with disabilities to ensure accuracy of reporting and validation of referrals. This activity will be performed at a minimum on a monthly basis.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Sociology, Criminal
Justice, Criminology and/or Family Studies/Services
At least two years experience within a youth program emphasizing transitioning from school to work
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience as a social work assistant and/or in social or community coordination, working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, and/or behavioral health care. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.

Occasional Travel is Required.
Working Conditions
Office setting with extensive use of personal computer, telephone, fax, copier and other related office equipment that involves sitting, standing, bending, reaching, etc. to include lifting up to 30 pounds.
