Responsible for providing Guest Services associated with the operation of the Transportation Department and the Valet Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Delivers the highest level of service while interacting with guests, peers, and other Sandia employees.
- Travels to assigned destinations, transporting guests to and from the casino, resort, airport, and other approved destinations.
- Completes a pre‑inspection and records all information on the inspection sheet before departure.
- Communicates appropriately with the dispatcher and acknowledges all information provided.
- Acknowledges and follows the set department standard operational procedures.
- Complies with all traffic regulations.
- Assists passengers and their baggage; assists in loading and unloading baggage compartments.
- Reports delays, traffic citations, incidents, and accidents.
- Advises passengers on safety requirements and reminds guests to remain seated or act in an orderly manner while in the vehicle.
- Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort.
- Makes minor repairs or replacements to vehicles and changes tires when needed.
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles.
- Builds professional relationships with internal and external contacts while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ensures punctual and regular attendance; reports to work based on the assigned schedule in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned; a quality guest service experience is essential for all team members.
- Serves as the initial point of contact for guest inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner.
- Reflects trust, comfort, and understanding by demonstrating empathy when problems occur.
- Resolves all issues in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered.
- Builds relationships with guests based on respect and confidence while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.
This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified as a measurement of success. KPIs will be shared with all team members in this job title, and feedback will be provided during the performance review process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge of vehicles and use of air brakes.
- Knowledge of the City of Albuquerque streets, roads, airports, and surrounding areas.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Knowledge of hazards and standard safety practices related to vehicle operation.
- Knowledge of the resort, casino, and transportation programs’ operations, services, activities, and promotions.
- Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to maintain and update proper certifications.
- Ability to respond to requests and inquiries from the general public.
Education and Experience
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- One (1) year of experience in guest services and/or dealing with the general public.
- Ability to drive Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles.
Note:
Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy educational and/or work experience requirements.
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.
- Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement is preferred.
- Must successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre‑employment and random drug screening.
