CDL-A Regional Flatbed Driver

Job Overview

This position is for an experienced CDL-A Flatbed Regional Driver based out of Ennis, TX. Drivers will transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across western regions of the United States.

Weekly pay ranges from $1,033.39 to $1,795.03, and annual pay ranges from $53,736.33 to $93,341.73, depending on experience, routes, attendance, and length of service. The flatbed regional driver rate is $0.52 to $0.66 per mile. Additional accessorial compensation includes tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay as applicable.

A $1,800 transition package is available, with $1,000 allotted for orientation in the first two weeks.

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years or older
• Safe driving record
• No more than six jobs in the last three years
• At least 4 months of truck driving experience
• Background check, drug test, and clearinghouse check required
• Physical ability to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5‑foot platform twice; this will be tested during orientation

Drive flatbed tractor-trailers on regional routes, loading loads at origin points, unloading at destinations, preparing and verifying load documentation, reporting incidents, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
