Assist and perform a variety of manual labor tasks in and around traffic signs, painting traffic markings and installing mastic and heat applied street markings in support of Traffic Engineering.
This is a Training and Certification Program position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEssential functions may include but are not limited to the functions listed below. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with MS Word and Excel preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSPossession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License and a clean driving record.
Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
May be required to have a passing grade on a standard mechanical aptitude test.
EnvironmentalExposure to loud noises, dust, vibrations, all weather conditions and hours of the day; traffic, high speed roads, heavy vehicles; work in the vicinity of high voltage electrical equipment.
PhysicalEssential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
