Reports To: Shipping Manager
Schedule: Monday – Friday, shifts between 6:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Location: 820 Rio Grande Blvd, NW Albuquerque, NM 87104
We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for timely and professional delivery of auto parts to customers while maintaining vehicle safety and exceptional customer service standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Safely pick up and deliver automotive parts to commercial and retail customers.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and secure transport of parts.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules; adjust as needed for traffic or weather conditions.
- Verify delivery documents, obtain required signatures, and collect payment when applicable.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle; immediately report any mechanical or safety concerns.
- Provide courteous, professional service and assist customers with basic questions.
- Support warehouse operations (stocking, organizing, staging orders) when not on deliveries.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, traffic laws, and New Mexico Motor Vehicle regulations.
- Participate in safety meetings and required training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Experience operating box trucks or delivery vehicles.
- Ability to lift, push, and move up to 70 lbs. safely.
- Basic proficiency using smartphones or iOS applications (e.g., GPS, routing apps).
- Ability to read and understand delivery tickets and invoices in English.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to safe driving habits.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Successful completion of background check, MVR review, and drug screen (in accordance with New Mexico law).
- Experience with route optimization software or handheld scanning devices.
- Prior experience in automotive parts, logistics, or warehouse operations.
