We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, stable, motivated, individual with a team-oriented approach and flexibility. This position is primarily responsible is supporting Trucking Operations managing Class A drivers for planning & scheduling New Mexico. Providing support for safety, operations, driver training, route support and vehicle maintenance and to our customers.
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Work closely with the Account Driver Manager and company drivers.
- Routing and scheduling shipments with our customers
- Assign drivers to shipments to ensure delivery by promised deadlines
- Developing, and maintaining customer relationships
- Collaborating with team members in pursuit of the company’s goals and objectives.
- Perform administrative duties of the job which includes sorting, filing, and distributing transportation documents.
- Must possess strong communication skills and pay close attention to detail.
- Providing support for safety, operations, and vehicle maintenance and to our customers
- Support operations
- Will train and support new drivers on routes and coverage.
- Route coverage driver calls offs and or requested time off.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Understanding of transportation operational and safety processes.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, highly motivated, and the ability to multitask
- Customer Service Logistics, and scheduling experience preferred
- Strong computer skills a must.
- Experience with TMS, and People Net a plus
- Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge
- Possess a "do whatever it takes" attitude
- Dependability & flexibility
- Self-Motivated, with a strong sense of urgency; exhibiting solid judgement
- Effective listening and strong communication skills
- Ability to develop and nurture strong business partnerships.
- Motivated team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented and strong organization skills
Must live in the Albuquerque area.
