O&M Warehouse Coordinator – Renewable Energy Projects
Gridworks is seeking a dependable and highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations and inventory control. This role is responsible for verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records in our Inventory Management System (UpKeep), and ensuring materials are prepared and delivered on time. Roles And Responsibilities- Loads and unloads goods and supplies while ensuring their proper handling
- Examines incoming and outgoing shipment contents and compares against manifests, invoices, or orders for accuracy
- Ensures cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory
- Maintains warehouse quality, tracks damaged inventory, and reports damage to Operations Manager
- Packs, seals, labels, and affixes postage preparing materials for shipping
- Records shipment data for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes including weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies
- Estimates sizes, and quantities of products and determines time, costs, resources, and materials required
- Monitors and controls materials, including regular cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy
- Follows all warehouse safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintains and regularly cleans warehouse
- Working conditions:
Various temperatures, handling of packing and unpacking, corrugated, metal, plastic straps, and plastic pallet wrappings. - Rough terrain when delivering to site
- Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
- Able to climb ladders and work in crawl spaces
- Manual dexterity required while working with tools.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods, able to bend, kneel, squat and reach at or above shoulder level
- This is a full-time position
- Overtime may be required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in shipping & receiving, warehousing, or distribution (solar industry experience a plus)
- Experience with inventory management, material handling, quality control, and data entry
- Forklift experience (Class 1–5 preferred) and basic knowledge of warehouse equipment
- Ability to create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and support material ordering as directed
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and basic math skills
- Effective time management and ability to adapt to changing schedules
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with internal and external teams
- Familiarity with OSHA standards preferred
- Ability to drive with a trailer as needed; clean driving record required
- General tool knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
