The Inventory and Receiving Specialist is responsible for inventory stocking and receiving of materials. They will accomplish this by maintaining storage organization, unloading and inspecting pallets that have been delivered and received. The Inventory and Receiving Specialist must also verify quantities delivered on transfer log/tickets and have clear and concise communication with production team members involved. They will be responsible for staging and having supplies and bulk ready for production runs.

- Adhere to Banyan’s values and social and environmental responsibility principles.
- Responsible for initial physical receiving of materials (if applicable).
- Acquire signatures from all delivery drivers and make note if any in‑transit damages prior to accepting delivery at the warehouse. Take pictures of damaged goods and send them to the Purchasing Department or Warehouse Manager to file a claim with the freight company (if applicable).
- Responsible for the offloading of trucks at Eagle Rock Warehouse.
- Preparation of materials for storage and transport.
- Prep pallets for storage – standardized between both warehouses.
- Receive instructions from the Inventory Coordinator to transport products between warehouses.
- Name locations at the warehouse and keep record of items stored in those location bins.
- Update record of items stored in locations as needed.
- Maintain organization of storage at Eagle Rock.
- Unloading pallets delivered by the Inventory and receiving Specialist.
- Pull and stage material for production needs.
- Will assist the Inventory Coordinator on physical counts of all items.
- Create and foster teamwork within the Warehouse.
- Will use Forklift to pull down supplies and bulk needed for production runs.
- Will assist in staging bulk and supplies for production runs at the end of the day to have ready for the following day.
- Assist in doing weekly supply check for production.
- Will verify bulk quantities after production runs to assist in inventory accuracy.
- Help QC staging for bulk and finish goods for sampling (support when needed).
- Verify that plaques are accurate and up to date.
- Read and sign all applicable SOPs.
- Be an example with attitude, hard work and quality.
- Optional overtime as applicable.
- Read and sign all relevant machine operation manuals, if applicable.
- Follow all relevant OSHA and FDA regulations, if applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Computer knowledge:
Asana, Google apps, Word, Cin7, and other applicable systems.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to drive box truck (if required).
- Forklift certification experience required.
- Experience driving. Stand‑up and sit‑down forklift.
