Warehouse Worker

Job Overview

We are looking for a warehouse associate for shipping and receiving duties at LKQ Corporation. The role involves processing inbound stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, and maintaining organization of the warehouse.

• Receive and put away inbound product to designated locations.
• Pick/pull correct product from appropriate locations and deliver to staging area or delivery truck.
• Operate manual/powered equipment (forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks) to transport product within the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas, and comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Not responsible for supervising employees.

• Up to 1 year of work‑related experience.
• Basic math abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic computer skills.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Prior experience with forklifts, order pickers, or similar power‑train equipment (PIT).

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete simple records.
• Ability to communicate orally with basic messages and write brief messages.
• Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.
• Works under guidance from supervisors or managers who assign assignments and priorities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time. The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and get into awkward positions. PPE may be required.

May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Travel (including overnight stays) may be required periodically, contingent on position requirements. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
