Position Summary
The Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) investigates sudden, violent, untimely, or unknown deaths across New Mexico. The Inventory Control Coordinator will support the OMI by maintaining inventory systems, performing data entry, receiving supplies, and ensuring accurate stock records. This full‑time role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a 24/7 facility.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience directly related to inventory control, data entry, or a similar function.
- Completion of a degree from an accredited institution may substitute for experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts with report data.
- Database management skills.
- Problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Clerical, word‑processing, and office skills.
- Knowledge of university invoicing procedures.
- Possession of a valid New Mexico driver’s license is required.
- Successful candidates must pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment physical examination and medical history check.
- Employees in patient care or clinical areas must comply with the university’s influenza vaccination requirement.
